Our approach
We aim to make this website easy to read and navigate. Pages use descriptive image alternatives, visible keyboard focus and controls that work without a mouse.
Movement
The homepage has a 30-second story: a zombie walks to the shelter as daylight fades, then sits and looks up. The walk does not repeat, but the clouds continue to drift and the zombie blinks occasionally. Movement stops while the scene is offscreen or the tab is hidden. Visitors who request reduced motion through their device or browser see a still night-time scene immediately, without the walk, assembly, camera movement, drifting clouds or blinking. No essential information depends on animation.
Reading and navigation
Pages use semantic headings and landmarks, a skip link, meaningful link text and comfortable reading widths. The main text uses a self-hosted typeface chosen for open shapes and comfortable spacing.
Current limitations
The decorative 3D scene needs a browser with WebGL support. The book and character information is also available as ordinary text and images. This statement describes the features provided; it is not a claim of formal accessibility certification.
